E. B. Guerra Elementary Library Events
E. B. Guerra Elementary hosted their annual Bluebonnet Breakfast. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students voted for their favorite Bluebonnet Nominee, our campus winner was Emily's Blue Period.
Kindergarten through 2nd grade students at E. B. Guerra Elementary learned about the importance of bully prevention. After reading the story, Chrysanthemum, students discussed how words and actions can be hurtful to others.
Our library hosted the Scholastic Book Fair on September 14, 2015. E. B. Guerra would like to thank Carmike Cinema for their popcorn donation!

How long can I check out a book for?
Students can check out a book for seven days. If you need a book longer, simply take it to the library so that it can be renewed through the system.
Are there late charges for overdue books?
Charges will be assigned to students that lose or damage a book. Fines will not be assigned to students that turn in a book late.
When can students come to the library?
Each grade level is assigned a 30 minute time period where 3-5 students from the class are allowed to come and check out books.
What do I have to do in order to meet my A.R. Goal?
Students must reach their A. R. goal in three areas: points, book level, and grades (90% or higher).
How do I become a millionaire?
Read, Read, Read! Students must read and test on many books in order to become a millionaire. A millionaire is a students that has read one million words and also maintains a high average.
How do I become a Rocking Reader?
Rocking Readers are first graders with at least 100,00 words and 2nd graders with at least 250,00 words. All students must maintain a 90% average.
